Aaron Thomas Company, Inc. is dedicated to playing a pivotal role in addressing climate change. In 2023 Aaron Thomas Company began the switch to renewable energy. We expect to convert all of our electricity usage to renewable sources by 2025, five years ahead of schedule.
Demonstrating a commitment to environmental stewardship, Aaron Thomas Company, Inc. has recently become a member of the Supplier Leadership on Climate Transition (Supplier LOCT). This initiative unites global brands in their shared commitment to reducing carbon emissions. As part of Supplier LOCT, the company benefits from expert guidance in the journey from initial carbon footprint measurement and reporting to setting science-based targets and ultimately achieving emissions reduction.
In addition to these efforts, Aaron Thomas Company, Inc. is actively working towards minimizing water consumption. Initiatives include the installation of waterless toilets in place of traditional ones, ongoing tracking of water usage across the site, and the implementation of regular preventative mainterence checks to enhance the quality of sanitation materials.
To further contribute to water conservation, the company is exploring investment opportunities in projects designed to directly benefit the local watershed. Collaborative discussions are underway, with ongoing development and partnership with our customer’s water replenishment team to realize this initiative.
